Finally what you’ve all been waiting for! Loula’s wedding day was an incredible experience that I basically cannot put into words. I was overjoyed to see my favorite person marry her favorite person. I could not have been more happy for Loula and Austin and I had an absolute blast catching up with old friends and eating and dancing and playing in New Orleans on an absolutely gorgeous day in September. Photographer Luke Edmonson captured the day perfectly.
Having the honor of creating a custom wedding dress for such a beautiful woman inside and out, whom I have loved for the past 20 years, has been one of the highlights of my career. Honestly I could go on and on about how much this day meant to me, but I guess a picture is worth a thousand words and I’ve got quite a few to share!
I had the honor of helping Loula get ready, including lacing her corset bodice, in her French Quarter suite.
Once we got to the ceremony venue at New Orleans’s Audubon Clubhouse, Austin was waiting to see his bride. I love this series of photos of the First Look.

The ceremony was held outside at sunset under the live oaks at Audubon Park. It was breathtakingly beautiful.
Yeah, I cried…
The reception was out of this world! The food was delicious and every person invited was so much fun to be around. Loula’s dad sings and plays the accordion in the band Louisiana Red. They absolutely ROCKED IT. Dancing, drinking, laughing, and celebrating with some of my very favorite people was the perfect end to a perfect day.
Thank you Loula for being such a good friend to me over the past 20 years and for being a beautiful muse for your custom wedding dress. Congratulations to you and Austin! I love you both very much!
